Human beings have lived intimately and independently with insects and have observed their behaviour for millennia. Bugs are spectacular creatures – with intricate structural components to support them through their ever-changing lives. These diverse and magical life forms are evoked in these pieces using techniques such as mokume, lost wax casting, granulation, enamelling and precious stones. In this show we explore the complexity of their world, using metal and gems plus leather to create fascinating pieces to delight the human eye!
